Apparently, someone has released some prohibidao -- music played in the favelas but prohibited in the legal world because of vulgar words and lyrics that glorify crime -- here in the U.S. I haven't heard it, so I can't vouch for the authenticity of the compilation, nor do I know whether local artists were paid for their participation.
