Zimbabwe Slum Dwellers Are Left With Only Dust
This dispatch from the LA Times starts with an amazingly vivid and harrowing story: a family forced by police to destroy their shanty only to have their two-week old daughter die of exposure overnight. Read it and weep. Actually, no, read it and get angry.

Might want to check a city in the Northeast, New Bedford Ma, Housing is getting so expensive, squatter cities are only a matter of time.
Please tell me more Malach, or point me in a direction where I can find out more. Prices are insane in NYC, where I live, and in S.F., where I just visited, but the mass of people don't seem to be desperate enough to squat just yet. What's different about the former whaling capital of the Northeast? Please advise. Thanks.
